Budongo Forest is approximately a 3–4-hour drive from Entebbe or Kampala, Uganda’s capital cities, as you head to the magical Murchison Falls National Park. Budongo Forest is the biggest mahogany forest located in East Africa and harbors a good number of chimpanzees. Budongo forest’s major tourist sites include the Kaniyo Pabidi site, the Busingiro eco-tourism site,and the Kaniyo Pabidi Ecotourism site all located at  Murchison Falls National Park boundaries , and all are dominated by Mahogany and Iron-wood trees.
