Why Is Bwindi So Popular

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is a popular safari destination in the world because it houses the highest number of endangered mountain gorillas and the stunning natural wonders of that tropical forest, which are incredibly rewarding.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park was declared a national park in 1991 as a gorilla national park, although trekkers can also engage themselves in other activities such as birding because it has been selected among the best birding destinations in Africa. Above that, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park harbors other primates like chimpanzees, monkeys, and animals such as forest elephants, among others.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park harbors over 1000 individuals in its four sectors, which include the Rushaga sector, Nkuringo sector, Buhoma sector, and Ruhija sector.  That is, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, which together house half of the world's mountain gorilla population.  Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park host 21 habituated mountain gorilla families that are ready to be visited.

Travelers are permitted to spend more time with mountain gorillas, and they are accompanied by doctors, researchers, and park rangers. Gorilla habituation is only found in the Rushaga sector of Bwindi Impenetrable, located in the south
